Debate over Neighborhood Density in Dubai: Between Theory and Practicality

Results reveal that while experts and policy makers appreciate the virtues of density, Dubai’s citizens perceive density as a threat to their economic and social statuses. While density constitutes a morphological ideal for generating better urban landscapes, findings reveal that it is insufficient to adopt this intellectual stance without taking into account cultural nuances.
